Canada’s leading heritage-education organization Defining Moments Canada (DMC) is currently searching for the position of ‘Lead Historian’ to help shape a national digital commemoration project honouring the 50th Anniversary of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for Dr Gerhard Herzberg – to be known as ‘Herzberg50’.
This is a short-term contract position available from April 30th – Dec 31st, 2021 focusing on digital research, curation and written contributions towards a ‘virtual
exhibition’ designed for the public, but primarily the education sector in all provinces/ territories.

Due to restrictions for COVID-19, all work for this position will conducted virtually.
Familiarity with DMC’s trademarked ‘Curatorial Thinking’ pedagogical framework, the core principles and goals of the organization, as well as our previous national projects are an asset.
