Call for Applicants – Treasurer, CSTHA Executive Committee

The Canadian Science and Technology Historical Association / Association pour l’histoire de la science et de la technologie seeks applicants for the position of Treasurer to serve on the Executive Committee. This is a volunteer position and the term is for two years. The Executive Committee meets 3-4 times per year and is responsible for planning the Association’s biennial conference, a biennial writing workshop, and the publication of the journal Scientia Canadensis. The Treasurer is responsible for the financial affairs of the Association and for maintaining the official office of the Association. The treasurer’s primary duties include directing CSTHA funds to cover operating expenses, depositing cheques, maintaining records of all transactions, filing taxes, and providing detailed annual financial updates to the CSTHA steering committee.For more information and to submit your name for consideration, contact the Secretary Matthew Hayes at hayesm@northernlakescollege.ca.
